STRATEGY & PROMISE

A strong brand must be built around an authentic promise that you’re able to deliver on.

If someone asked your leadership team to say your brand promise out loud, would they all say the same thing?
Personal Brand

Knowing their own personal brand helps brand ambassadors live the organisational brand because they can align the two.

LEADERSHIP BRAND

We identify the specific measurable behaviours your brand ambassadors need to demonstrate for the brand promise to be kept – turning values into something people can actually observe and follow.

Brand promise & strategy

We help you describe your brand in terms of this definition: A recognisable mark of origin, an authentic promise of performance and a clear point of difference.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What is brand expression?
There are two parts to brand expression: Formal brand expression describes a brand in terms of its purpose, vision, mission, values, core competence and greater good. These add up to what brand ambassadors need to do to deliver on the brand's promise. Creative guidelines ensure that a brand is consistent in terms of its personality, tone and manner, visual language and creative platform. Consistency is important because it promotes recognition, affinity and trust.
Can one improve one's communication skills?
Some people are naturally better communicators than others. But everyone can improve their communication skills by habitually applying good communication habits — such as properly preparing both spoken and written communications, and ensuring the message has landed by listening and learning from the response.
What is brand positioning?
Brand positioning is how a brand describes its offering in terms of the benefits it offers stakeholders relative to the competition.
What is a brand strategy?
A brand strategy describes a brand, as simply as possible, in terms of the definition of a brand: a brand identity, an authentic promise of performance that resonates with stakeholders and is differentiated from competitors, used in pursuit of a defined purpose.
What is a brand identity?
A brand identity consists of a combination of: • brand name • logo (an icon) • descriptor • a slogan
What defines good communication?
Good communication is a conversation defined by three elements: ensuring that you are focused on a clear objective, create context and describe benefit; that you listen purposefully without interruption and ask for clarity if required; and that you make your audience feel recognised and respected.
What is a brand promise?
